Return to Me

Return to me, and I will return to you, says the LORD. Malachi 3:7

Church Revitalization is not a program offered by the denomination, the result of a campaign energized by a new leader, nor a life-line delaying the closure of the church for a few more years. Churches are revitalized when the Spirit of God moves in the hearts of people causing them to make some hard changes and re-commitments.
  1. Honest confession of where they drifted from God and God's mission.
  2. Emptying themselves of all pride from the successes of the past.
  3. A willingness to do things differently.
  4. Supporting and praying for renewed leadership.
  5. A renewed focus on being on mission with God in the community.
  6. Experiencing a holy desperation in praying for church revitalization.
  7. Removing anything that stands in the way of church unity.
  8. Refocusing on evangelism.

Be a part of a HOME Group study starting September 1, or let Pastor Frank know how we can help you participate if you are not in a HOME Group. The seven biblical steps that we will explore in Return to Me are highlighted below. We will study each step for two Sundays in our HOME Groups and participants will have daily opportunities for personal Bible study and guided reflection during the week.

Return to Me

Return to me, and I will return to you, says the LORD. Malachi 3:7

Love God

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command. Matthew 22:37-38

Love Others

I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. John 13:34

Surrender All

Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. Matthew 6:33

Be Transformed

Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

Join God's Mission

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20

Glorify God

Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us-to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
